On March 27th, 2006 the Grafton County Commissioners offered their thanks and appreciation to the State of New Hampshire Dept. of Transportation's North Haverhill Road Crew for all the wonderful work that they've done in the area. The Commissioners especially wanted to give thanks to them for pitching in so "neighborly" after the barn fire in January, as they offered the farm one on their tractors so that the Farm Manager could continue taking care of the dairy cows. Without that valuable offering, the farm would have had to overcome yet another obstacle. A small continental breakfast was put out for the Crew and Commissioner of Transportation Carol Murray, who was also invited, and happily attended the gathering.

The Commissioners presented a Certificate of Appreciation to the Crew and a Picture of the January Fire that included a plaque with the date on it. The men were very proud of their accomplishments.
A round table discussion ensued and the Crew and Commissioner Murray had a chance to go over some of the problems facing the Crew going into the spring.
