Door Decorating Contest & Holi

On December 18th, Grafton County held it's annual Decorating Contest and Holiday Gathering for all it's employees. All three Commissioners spent time walking around and looking at all areas to be judged. It was a very difficult challenge picking the winners but here there are!


Brenda K. put up this display in the Courthouse and won a second prize gift.	Commissioner Burton was amazed at how it was all put together!

Activities Dept. put together a Nutcracker theme that was carried on down the hallway, and won First Place in the Traditional category	Celeste R. decorated the door of a resident on Maple in a spiritual theme, winning second place in Traditional.
Jackie G. dressed the hallway to her office in an expansive Snowman theme. there were snowmen and lights everywhere Jackie was a First Place winner in Creative



Cooperative Extension's theme was also Creative and they had every door decorated with the 12 Days of Extension. A lot of work and thought went into all the doors and they came away with Second Place prize. (Not enough room to show all the doors!)
Health Information won 1st Prize for Humorous and really poked fun at "bad" Santa and his eight accomplices.		Darlene W. and Lynn M. did a Hawaiian Christmas theme with the hopes of having a little bit better weather for Christmas. They won 2nd Prize in Humorous.
Ellen C. won First Place in the Elegant Category on the In-Service Door.
And the GRAND PRIZE WINNER went to the Business Office's Lisa & Bryan for their rendition of "Twas the Night Before Christmas"
