The Employees of Grafton County were encouraged to participate in a door decorating contest.  This contest has traditionally been held in the Nursing Home, but was extended throughout all the county offices this year.  Awards were given to the first and second prize winners, and a Grande Prize was given to the overall best door.  Commissioner Michael Cryans and Register of Deeds, Joel Dupuis were the judges.  It was a very difficult choice as all the participants did an extraordinary job.  There were four categories:
Traditional ~ Original ~ Creative and Humorous. 

After the judging was done and the winners chosen, everyone gathered in the Activities Room where the Dietary Department had put on a wonderful spread of food and drinks for all employees.  Bacon wrapped scallops, spinach croissants, and seafood canapés were just some of the specialties. 

Commissioner Burton took to the organ and regaled us all with one Christmas tune after another, never breaking stride. 

It was a great way to begin the week and the Holiday Season.  Take a look at some of the wonderful work everyone did!
