The National Association of Counties hosted their Annual County Conference 2005, at the Balsams Grand Hotel in Dixville Notch this year.  Many employees from Grafton County attended some of the  lectures and seminars made available to them.  They had wonderful  warm fall days this years with the leaves showing their colors.  

 

Along with the seminars was an awards banquet. 
Three employees from Grafton County were Awarded for their Achievements.

  Christine Ash, Administrative Assistant  from the County Attorney's Office was awarded "County Attorney Employee of the Year". Christine has been employed by the County since December of 1997.

Carol Elliott, Treasurer for Grafton County since 2003, was awarded "County Treasurer of the Year".  Carol previously served as Grafton County Register of Deeds for 16 years before changing positions.

Renee Shields, the Director of Nursing at the Grafton County Nursing Home was awarded "Nursing Home Employee of the Year". Renee has been at the Nursing Home since February 2000.

 

There were many on hand at the banquet to cheer on the recipients of these prestigious awards, including Commissioner Gabler, who presented an award, 

and the Executive Director of Grafton County, Julie Clough (left) , as well as a host of other friends, family and employees.
